Contact strips ensure good shielding effectiveness but they do not ensure environmental protection (IP). They can work in a wide range of temperatures, from -55˚C do + 120˚C.
Contact strips are very good for shielding frequently opened doors and frequently removed covers. They can be manufactured from beryllium copper, stainless steel or copper. Upon request, they can be coated with solder, gold or other metals. Contact strips and point contacts are also used for contacting PCB-s with the gound or housing of the device. They may also be used as contacts for batteries, accumulators and others. This group of products also includes EMC connector shieldings and I/O shieldings. Contact strips and point contacts can be used in all kind of electrical devices.
